Lucky Pick or own choice: where does the record really differ?
In the uniform mathematical model, valid numbers do not have an extra full-set chance because they were chosen by a person or an automatic picker. The practical difference is in the selection and checking of the confirmed record. The game, count, range and draw still have to be correct.

What does the Lucky Pick reference cover?
The January 2026 LottoMatik Game Manual has a Lucky Pick definition and game-specific input rules. Read the section for the exact product. The article is not a test of the picker algorithm or a claim that the particular game is available on this website.
Two selections, one denominator
Fictional manual set A: {01, 08, 14, 22, 31, 42}. Fictitious automatic set B: {03, 09, 17, 24, 32, 40}. In the uniform unordered 6/42 model, each has a 1/C(42,6) = 1/5,245,786 full-set chance. Both sets are valid in the assumed range; no special weight due to the selection method.

What should be checked after choosing?
| Check | Manually chosen | Automatic selection |
|---|---|---|
| Valid range/count | Check the selected set | Check the generated set. |
| Duplicate members | It should not be assumed that it is accepted | No error should be assumed. |
| Confirmed record | Read the actual ticket | Also read the actual ticket. |
| Draw identity | Right game/date/session | Both identity checks. |
Do not change the outcome of the story
Familiar numbers may be easier to remember, but the probability model is not a memory aid. Winning other automatic tickets in the past is not proof that all automatic selections have a higher chance. Real algorithmic evidence is needed for claims about actual distribution, and your audited data does not exist here.
