Rise of Giza PowerNudge: what moves when there is a winning combination?

Author —

There is a new symbol at the top of the reel after a win. This does not mean that all winning symbols are removed like a regular tumble. In Rise of Giza PowerNudge, the very reels that are part of the winning combination are nudged down. The animation is easier to read when the column and row are mapped.

Original slot concept: Rise of Giza PowerNudge. Full winning reel dropping one row vs. selective tumble removal. Not actual provider screenshot.
Original concept illustration, not a provider screenshot or evidence of a played round. Labels and numbers are for hypothetical examples. Abridged reel-movement illustrations, not full actual layout. The before/after map is only a three-row window in the visual; N/A/B/C are generic icons and have no payout claim.

Column movement, not selective symbol removal

According to official release on August 19, 2021, each winning combination triggers a PowerNudge. The reels that make up the winning combination move down one position. That is the specific movement that will be analyzed in the before/after frame.

We will not transfer the generic tumble rule of “just remove winning symbols” here. Since the whole reel moves, an ordinary symbol can also move rows in the same affected column even if that is not the reason for the win.

One reel, one nudge

The example is an artificial three-row window. Before the nudge, A is the top, B is the middle and C is the bottom. The reel has moved down one position, so the new N is at the top, A is the middle and B is the bottom. C exits the visible window.

B didn’t become a new symbol: it just moved position. In this simplified event, the column that is not included in the nudge is unchanged. The actual winning reels and full animations still need to be seen to connect this map to a real round.

Nudge events and paid spins are not the same number

There can be more than one nudge within a win sequence. Do not count a new paid bet for each reel movement if there is no new debit in the history. Write the parent round, nudge number and affected columns as separate fields.

For a personal test note, use “round R; nudge 1; affected reel X; observed shift one row.” When the video breaks and the win is not seen before the movement, mark the trigger as unknown. The mere appearance of a new symbol is not sufficient proof of feature entry.

The progressive multiplier is a different field

In current Rise of Giza product description, the progressive multiplier on free spins increases by 1 × with each nudge and subsequent free spin. We don’t need an invented starting value or payout calculation to explain reel geometry.

Record the multiplier state if visible, but do not mix it with the number of rows traversed. The reel drops one position; it does not say what the settled award will be. Geometry, event count and monetary settlement are separate questions.
